Cedar Point Info

24 have signed up for Cedar Point and this looks to be an amazing time. We will be leaving at 7am on Tuesday morning; it is likely that we will not be returning until well after midnight. If you can't be picked up that night, you are welcome to sleep at the church. Some things to keep in mind before we visit:
  • Wear comfortable shoes. Sandals just won't cut it and you'll have blisters by the end of the day.
  • DO NOT wear jewelry. Many of the rides require riders to remove jewelry before riding.
  • If you plan on riding the water rides it would be wise to wear a bathing suit under your clothes or bring a towel. Advice: Don't ride Snake River Falls at 10pm and then expect to hop in the van.
  • Pack a lunch. It's fun to eat at the park but it's also very expensive.
  • Drink plenty of water. There are drinking fountains throughout the park.
  • The park is huge! Most people run straight for their favorite ride once the gates open. Try to do things in order and you'll have more energy to go back and ride things you want. A good strategy is to head to the back of the park and work your way forward.
There are more helpful tips, videos, and ride information at Cedar Point's website. If you have any other questions call or email me.
